Here are the talented people in our Stevens Point South location who work hard, believe in and embrace our goals to be the best auto repair shops in each of our markets.
Doug Noskowiak, Shop Owner In the auto industry since 1987, Doug was well experienced when he came on board in 2000. He is an ASE-Certified Automobile Service Consultant and an ASE-Certified Parts Specialist.
He has completed many auto service management courses and received his associate degree from Northcentral Technical College in Wausau.
When he’s not spearheading the efforts of providing conscientious, efficient service for our customers, you might find him at the Elks Club or out fishing, bowling or golfing. Doug also likes to crank up the ‘80s tunes and grill some delicious meals for his family.
Jake Boyd, Automotive Technician
Jake began his career in the automotive industry in 2002, joining our team in 2007.
He is an ASE-Certified Technician in Engine Repair, Suspension and Steering, Brakes and Engine Performance. He has also received his CFC Refrigeration Certificate from the state of Wisconsin.
When he’s not applying his keen diagnostic and repair skills at work, he enjoys being the outdoors, especially fishing and hunting.
Tom Engelhardt, Automotive Technician
An automotive industry veteran with nearly 20 years of practical know-how, Tom joined our team in 2010. He is ASE Certified in Suspension and Steering, Brakes and Electrical/Electronic systems.
He has also received certification in Kubota, Detenze and Peugot engine overhaul, and air and hydraulic brake systems repair.
Tom is a graduate of Mid-State Technical College in Wisconsin Rapids, and his studies focused on diesel and heavy equipment repair.
Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family and likes to camp, hunt and fish.
Josh Gross, Service Advisor
A relatively new addition to our team is Josh Gross. Josh has three years of experience in the industry, and he is the friendly face you’ll meet at the counter.
When he can, he likes to have a good time with his friends and family and tries to work in a little hunting and fishing.
Dean Guse, Service Advisor
Dean’s been in the industry since 1993 and brought his expertise to us 10 years later.
He is an ASE-Certified Parts Specialist and a graduate of Northcentral Technical College in Wausau, specializing in Automotive Technology.
Dean loves a great demolition derby, and he also enjoys hunting and fishing.
Sue Larson, Service Advisor
Sue brought her 25 years of industry experience, including many years as a shop owner, to our team in 2011. She really enjoys helping customers and loves sharing her expertise to help others.
When she’s not spending time with her eight beloved grandchildren, she’s fishing, hunting or gardening. Sue's boundless energy puts us all to shame! She likes classic rock and horror movies and dreams of visiting Haiti.
Jeff Maluka, Automotive Technician
With us from nearly the beginning, Jeff is an ASE-Certified Master Technician. He has also received certifications from Chevrolet and Volkswagen.
Jeff is retired after serving as Captain for the Whiting Fire Department.
He still enjoys helping his community as a volunteer at the VFW of Weywega and helping others develop leadership skills.
Chris Omernick, Automotive Technician
New to us in 2013, Chris has more than 18 years under his belt in the auto industry.
An ASE-Certified Automobile Service Consultant and an ASE-Certified Parts Specialist, Chris has also received ASE Certification in Engine Repair, Automatic Transmissions, Suspension and Steering, Brakes, and Manual Transmissions, Drivetrain and Axles. Jamey Palbrach, Automotive Technician
An Auto Select Tech of the Year, Jamey has 20 years of automotive expertise and joined us in 2005. An ASE-Certified Master Technician who has also achieved A/C and welding certification, he is also a mobility specialist for handicapped accessible vans.
In his spare time he enjoys riding four-wheelers and ice fishing. Jamey is also a doughnut connoisseur but has a hard time choosing his favorite flavor.
Chris Travis, Service ManagerChris joined us in 2011 after working in the industry for more than 16 years. He is an ASE-Certified Parts Specialist and completed his bachelor’s degree at the University of South Florida in Tampa, FL.
We’re not sure why he traded Florida’s warm, sunny winters for cold Wisconsin ones, especially because his two favorite hobbies are boating and golfing, but we’re glad he did.
Chris also enjoys spending his free time with his wife and two young children.
