Meet the Team
Each and every one of our team members is here to serve you. We only hire people who have a strong work ethic, unwavering integrity and are willing to exceed our clients' expectations ... every single day.
Here are the talented people in our Green Bay location who work hard, believe in and embrace our goals to be the best auto repair shops in each of our markets.
Joshua Liesch, Shop Owner
Joshua began his career in 1996 and joined the Auto Select family in 2000. ASE Certified in Brakes, Suspension and Steering, he is also an ASE-Certified Service Consultant, ASE-Certified Parts Specialist and an Accredited Automotive Manager.
A graduate in business management from the University of Wisconsin – Osh Kosh, he puts this auto and business expertise to work successfully serving our customers.
Josh enjoys spending his free time with wife and young daughter, especially in Door County.
Shane Cure, Light Duty Technician
Shane came aboard in 2012 with 5 years of industry experience. When he’s not helping our customers in the shop, he likes to fish with his son.
Doug Knight, Automotive Technician
Doug began his auto career in 2005 and joined us in 2013, bringing a wealth of expertise to serve our customers. He is an ASE-Certified Master Technician with L1 Advanced Engine Performance certification. Doug received his education from Northeast Wisconsin Technical College’s Automotive Technology Program.
In his free time, he likes playing with his pets, working on home projects, four-wheeling, and playing video games.
Jason Nelsen, Light Duty Technician
After spending 6 years in the industry, Jason joined our team in 2012. He is certified by the state of Wisconsin in CFC Refrigeration.
Outside of work, Jason is a real sports fan, playing as many sports as often as he can. He also enjoys watching his favorite team, the Packers, listening to Nirvana and the FooFighers, eating pizza and watching the Back to the Future movies.
We’re not sure if the Delorean is his favorite car, but we’d like to see him get the flux capacitor going in the narrow streets of France and Italy, his two favorite vacation spots.
Steve Olman, Shop Foreman
An ASE-Certified Master Technician, Steve has been putting his 25 years of highly skilled knowledge to work for our our customers since 2001. He earned a degree from Northeast Wisconsin Technical College’s Automotive Technology program.
When he can, he enjoys attending car shows, followed up by a perfectly grilled steak or cheeseburger.
Jaramey Plager, Assistant Manager
A new addition to our team, Jaramey has been in the automotive industry since 1995. He has completed the Goodyear Manager training course and has achieved his state of Wisconsin CFC Refrigeration.
A music enthusiast, he loves listening to rock and playing guitar. Jaramey also volunteers with Home Sweet Home, a charitable organization that donates household items to those in need. Watching Seinfeld still puts a smile on his face as does the thought of his dream car, a Ferrari.
Frederick “Buddy” VanSickle, Automotive Technician
Buddy is a self-proclaimed technician extraordinaire, and we’d have to agree.
He's an ASE-Certified Master Technician with more than 20 years of experience, and he's also certified by the state of Wisconsin in CFC Refrigeration. Buddy has been on our team since 2011.
He attended Indiana Vocational Technical College in Lafayette and is the proud father of two. He enjoys fishing and boating and would like to cruise around in muscle cars from the ‘60s and ‘70s.
